My Skills
Ux Design
Employ research to create user experiences that are easy and enjoyable. Making the complex simple is key. Conduct user and design research such as user journey maps, user personas, competitor research, industry trend research, user surveys and questionnaires.
UI Design
Create design concepts and user interface designs applying learns obtained from the research phase. Designs incorporate best practice in colour theory, typography, consistency design and more. Above all designs are simple, beautiful and user focused.
Front End Developmemt
Work with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery and ASP.NET, for prototyping, website and
application builds, redesigns, ezine builds, CMS and booking engine prototypes. Use this knowledge to create designs that are practical for developers as well as users.
Balsamic, InVision, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
I have used a number of tools to design interfaces and create concepts. Previously I used Flash and Adobe Captivate. I currently use InVision, Balsamic, paper sketching & Photoshop for prototyping. I use Illustrator for asset creation such as icons. I use Photoshop for the visual design of products & applications.
Lean Processes and Kanban
Kanban is employed to manage the process of designing a product from start to finish. Visual boards allow the team to easily see the stage they are at and highlight what needs to be done to move on. Using Kanban has reduced the throughput time of a product significantly in my experience.
Graphic Design, Product Design, Drawing and Sketching
Graphic Design and Sketching are both tings I do in my spare time. Graphic Design includes brochures, Logo Design, Poster Design, Leaflets and letterheads. Drawing and sketching is something I do as a hobby but I also use sketching regularly for early prototyping.
